Summer Camp 2022: Academy Introduction & Arts

Active day camp combining introduction to sports with engaging art explorations

No Bad Weather Summer Academy starts on June 27, 2022, and runs weekly throughout the summer, ending with the week of August 29, 2022.

New for Summer 2022: In addition to NBW Action Sports Outdoor Program we are also offering an Indoor-based Academy that will combine a set of introductory sports activities at the Academy center or nearby outdoor location with fun art breaks.

Indoor Summer Academy

Focus on introducing skateboarding, biking, acrobatics, yoga, and developing individual motoric skills led by experienced specialists. All activities are designed to provide a fun introduction for campers to become confident in a variety of sports and conduct them safely. No prior knowledge, or “athletic” character required:).

Daily Art Explorers

Most children cannot stay active for a full day so we like to combine sports with calmer activities to practice rest and recharge.
Art Explorers will provide campers the opportunity to explore art media and techniques inspired by fun weekly themes. Daily sessions will offer kids the opportunity to begin growing into their own personal style, while they learn and develop art skills using various art materials. We will be delving into pattern making, building shapes with clay, painting, illustration, fiber arts, etc.
On multiple occasions during the summer, parents are welcome to attend an art show where they will see all of the work on display at the NBW space!
